Torch Tales LARP: Our Story

Live-Action Role Play (LARP) has been around since the late 1970s, blending role-playing games, genre fiction, and immersive storytelling. Growing up in England with a love for theater and outdoor adventure, I found LARP to be the perfect collision of everything I loved—performance, creativity, teamwork, and imagination.

After earning a degree in Drama with Actor Training and Creative Writing, and spending time volunteering in schools and theaters, I dove into LARP fully. It sharpened real-world skills like communication, collaboration, and leadership—all while having a blast. When I moved to the U.S. in 2019, I noticed something missing: a LARP space for young people and families.

That’s where Torch Tales LLC was born.

Torch Tales brings the magic of LARP to families and kids, combining storytelling, character development, and immersive play in a welcoming, ever-evolving world. With a custom-built game system and an emphasis on growth, exploration, and fun, Torch Tales creates unforgettable experiences where every player matters and every character’s story is worth telling.
